What I have Achieved

  • Build and configure back-end mySQL databases to serve data to iPhone applications
  • Build and configure back-end PostgreSQL databases to serve data to iPhone applications
  •  Build and Extend Ruby on Rails websites, as a Web-based front-end to support iPhone applications
  • Deploy iPhone data servers to Heroku.com
  • Perform custom programming using C/C++, shell scripts, batch files, Visual C++, and various Unix command line tools.
  • Develop computer programs, macros and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, automate installation, automate migration, inventory, and software updates.
  • Debug, maintain, and upgrade in-house software tools using Microsoft Visual C++.
  • Analyze failures to determine whether they require a short-term solution or that problem is systemic and requires a permanent fix.
  • Build and configure Ruby on Rails web applications to transfer data to/from iPhone Applications
  • Design and perform scheduled maintenance efforts to minimize system failures and maximize computer resource availability and readiness.
  • Analyze failures to determine whether the failures require a short-term solution or if the problem is systemic and requires a permanent fix.
  • Work with software/hardware vendors as necessary for corrective action.
  •  Develop system documentation, including configuration information, for each server maintained.
  • Design and perform scheduled maintenance efforts to minimize system failures and maximize computer resource availability and readiness.
